Description

Fine-tuning a material buried inside a complex node setup usually means hunting through the Slate Material Editor to find the right node. Remate skips that step: click a face in the viewport, and it grabs the exact sub-material under your cursor — even inside Multi/Sub or layered setups — and takes live control of it.

From there, eight core channels (Brightness, Saturation, Hue, Temperature, Contrast, Glossiness/Roughness, Bump, Displacement, plus Recolor) are available as sliders that move the Corona or V-Ray interactive render directly. A “More Parameters” panel goes further, surfacing every other channel actually plugged into the material — reflection, refraction, translucency, opacity, emission — discovered dynamically rather than from a fixed list. Grading is relative per material, so a selection of forty different materials keeps its individual variety instead of being flattened to one look. A one-click reset restores the entire selection to its original state, pixel-exact, with no leftover nodes.

It supports Corona and V-Ray materials as well as the 3ds Max Physical Material, and a right-click opens the Compact Material Editor directly on the controlled material.
