Description

Set random material IDs for the selected splines, either using the existing IDs or specifying a range of IDs.

This tool is especially useful when preparing splines for procedural modeling, multi-material rendering, or advanced motion graphics setups.
By randomizing material IDs, you can quickly create color variations, assign different shaders to spline segments, or drive modifiers and plugins that rely on material ID data. It’s also a great time-saver when working with complex imported vector artwork or CAD drawings, giving you immediate visual diversity without manually editing each spline.

Compatibility: 3ds Max 2012 and higher
Last Update: version 1.02, 10/17/2024.
