What are the differences between SuperHelix Free and SuperHelix Pro?

    • Number of gizmos per scene: limited to 3.
    • Turns: limited to 50
    • Resolution: limited to 16
    • No.of spline clones: limited to 40
    • Spline growth animation: not available
    • Customer support is not provided.

How do I install the Script?

    1. Drag the “.mzp” file onto one of your viewports in 3ds Max . The script automatically installs itself.
    2. To add the script to a toolbar, go to the Menu > Customize > Customize user interface…
    3. Go to the “Toolbars” tab and pick the category “Spline Dynamics”.
    4. The script name “SuperHelix” must be listed there. Just drag it onto a toolbar and you’re done!

I purchased SuperHelix Pro and installed it but It’s running the Free version. Why is that?

Both Free and Pro versions are the same script. You just need to activate your SuperHelix Pro license to make the Pro features available.

When you purchased the product, we sent you by email 2 license keys. Copy one of them to clipboard (CTRL+C) and do the following:

    1. With the script open, go to SuperHelix Pro rollout (at the bottom of the UI) and click “Activate SuperHelix Pro button.
    2. A dialog called  “Software Activation” pops-up. Paste your license key in the text field.
    3. If the license key is correct, the script will restart and perform the necessary changes.

The script title should have changed to SuperHelix Pro and all its features will be now available.

How do I activate Superhelix Pro license?

The steps for that are described in the previous question.

Can I install the script in different versions of 3dsMax on the same computer?

Yes, you should be able to install it in all 3dsMax supported versions on the same machine, using the same license key. The license is tied to the computer (node-locked), not to the software.
If you have any trouble with this, please write us through the contact form and we’ll help you.
